Vous le savez, on présente, habituellement et avec raison, la rhétorique comme un art développé afin de parler pour convaincre et persuader dans les espaces juridiques, sociaux et politiques. Cette fois-ci, je voudrai présenter la rhétorique comme un art de l’écoute… L’écoute sera vue comme un élément essentiel de la construction de l’autorité pour prendre la parole dans divers espaces publics. Qu’est-ce qu’écouter le concert des voix qui se déroule dans l’espace public? En quoi cette écoute est-elle une vertu démocratique pour s’engager dans une discussion argumentée?
